Organic products:
According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program, organic is “a labeling term that indicates that the food or other agricultural product has been produced through approved methods. These methods integrate cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. Synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering may not be used.” So this implies that organic products are generally those products which are made without any help of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides. Organic products are minimal processed and do not undergoes animal testing. Only those products are certified organic, whose participating ingredients are at least 70% organic.
Natural products
The term natural itself explicates its origin, as natural products are those products which are derived from the nature either from the plants or minerals. So this shows that naturals products can be the outcomes of plant and minerals both, while organic and herbal products are only derived from plants. Chemical fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides are used sometimes to increase the yield and for the enhancement of natural products. However artificial colors, thickeners, artificial fragrance and other additives are highly prohibited for natural products.
