Skincare routine for glowing skin
- Tomato for pinkish glowing skin – Tomatoes are rich source of vitamin – C, which is a natural glowing and brightening agent. It also removes sun tan and reduces the open pores and cellular damage. Apply tomato juice or you can gently rub your skin with tomato slice for 10-15 minutes for bright and glowing skin. For better and quick results, try this for at least once or twice in a week.
- Gram flour and turmeric face pack – Applying facial pack made up of gram flour, turmeric, honey and milk nourishes the skin and helps in attaining even complexion. Two/three tablespoon of gram flour, half tablespoon of turmeric and one tablespoon of honey mixed evenly with yogurt or milk should be applied on face and neck region and after 10-15 minutes of application, wash it with normal water. Twice in a week can show gradual effect on face.
Skincare routine for dry skin
- Aloevera gel – Applying the leaf extract of aloevera can help one from getting relief from irritation and itching related to excess dry skin. As it has been noticed some people to be allergic to aloevera, so it is advised to have patch test before applying it one a large surface area.
- Apply coconut oil before bedtime – Massaging your facial skin with coconut oil before going to sleep can gradually reduce the dryness from skin. It can also be a source of natural moisturizer as it soften the skin and keeps the skin hydrated.
- To get relief from dry skin, one should keeps the body hydrated and should dress well according to the ambience and weather as exposure of skin to sun and dry wind can also cause further dryness of skin.
Skincare routine for oily skin
- Egg white facial mask – Applying facial mask prepared from the egg white mixed with flour and honey helps in reducing the excess oil from face and prevent pre mature ageing. Apply this facial mask evenly on face and allows it to dry and then rinse it with warm water to keep your skin healthy and oil free.
- Buttermilk – Massaging the facial skin gently with buttermilk can help in getting relief from excess oil of face. The lactic acid present in buttermilk prevents the skin from bacterial and fungal infections. You can apply small amount of buttermilk on face before going to sleep daily to see quick results.
- Oatmeal and honey face mask – Make facial mask with ½ cup of ground oat with warm water mixed with one tablespoon of honey. And then apply it on face and leave it for 10-15 minutes to dry; rinse with warm water and pat dry.
